A fully licensed plumber is required to obtain a job as an English plumber. You should start your apprenticeship, which may last up to three years. In order to become a master plumber, you will need to have completed 300 hours of theory. You may also be able to study basic plumbing at a nearby college. This will take approximately 3 to 4 years depending upon the school curriculum. The training will teach you how to braze, cut and weld metals, as well as how to properly braze.
